Kathryn Puseman is a macrobotanical expert with over 27 years of experience working with macrofloral remains, charcoal, and wood for archaeological and paleoenvironmental projects.
Kathy has experience with both prehistoric and historic samples from a variety of sites in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Islands. Kathy has also worked with geologists to recover datable material for paleoflood and paleoseismic studies.
Chad Yost is a paleoecologist and microbotanical specialist with 15 years of experience providing phytolith and starch grain analyses for paleoecological and archaeological investigations.
Chad has worked on a wide variety of historic and prehistoric samples and materials from North and South America, Europe, Africa, and the Pacific Islands.
Chad also has an extensive background as a botanist and field ecologist and is currently a graduate student at the University of Arizona, pursuing a Ph.D. in geosciences.
